The Anonymity sets page reads the projects' own contracts and nodes once a day: EVM chains through PublicNode (with dRPC as the Ethereum fallback), Solana through PublicNode and the Solana Foundation's public RPC, Zcash note trees from the zec.rocks lightwalletd servers, Monero from public nodes, Monero's FCMP++ progress from the GitHub API, and Railgun's history from Railgun's indexers. Its Sources and method section lists every document and endpoint, with dates.
The Activity page counts daily use from Coin Metrics Community Data (Monero and Zcash transactions, CC BY-NC 4.0), checked against public Monero nodes; ZecBlock and zeczcash.com for Zcash; Railgun's indexers for Railgun; the Ethereum chain through PublicNode and Blockscout for Tornado Cash; 0xbow's API for Privacy Pools; Solana's public RPC for Privacy Cash; and the Aztecscan API for Aztec. Each chart names its source, its licence or terms and the documents behind it.
The live ticker at the top of the Activity page follows six chains as transactions arrive: the Tornado Cash, Railgun and Privacy Pools contracts on Ethereum through PublicNode, Monero through the public nodes run by Cake Wallet and Seth for Privacy, Zcash through ZecBlock, the Privacy Cash program on Solana through Solana's public RPC, Liquid through Blockstream's Esplora API and Aztec through Aztecscan. It shows only what any public node sees, with links to public block explorers, and keeps what it receives for 7 days, then deletes it.
The Exchange access chart asks each exchange's own public market API once a day which of the seven coins it lists for spot trading (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate, HTX, MEXC, Gemini, Bitfinex, Crypto.com and Upbit). The site keeps only whether each coin is listed and the names of its pairs, not prices or volumes.
The Timeline, Funding, Watchlist, Wallets and tools and Calendar pages link the documents behind each entry beside it, with the day it was checked.
Event dates link to their original reports. Charts are drawn with uPlot (MIT licence).
The data behind the site can be downloaded from the Data page, as CSV files and the JSON files the pages load, under CC BY-NC 4.0 and with the credits above. The Changes page lists what has changed, also as an RSS feed.
Exchange access and country rules
The exchange access and country rules page cites 343 documents from 123 publishers, each linked beside the entry it supports and checked on 13 Oct 2026. They are mainly exchanges' own market data and notices, laws and official gazettes, regulators and courts. Press and other secondary reports are used only where no primary source could be reached, and an entry that rests on them alone is marked Reported.
Country shapes on its map come from Natural Earth (1:110m, public domain), via world-atlas 2.0.2 (ISC licence).
