The Law Library of Congress lists Tunisia in its strictest category ('absolute ban'), citing an undated Central Bank of Tunisia press release stating that the bank does not recognise or deal in cryptocurrencies as a form of payment, and a May 2021 press report of a 17-year-old arrested in Tunisia for using cryptocurrency in an online activity. The report does not identify a statute naming crypto, and no start date is recorded. We could not open the central bank release or check for 2025 or 2026 changes. No rule found names privacy coins or mixers.
