Notes and sources by coin
ZEC Zcash Restricted +perp since 16 Jun 2026
Not offered to clients in India (since 10 April 2026), the UAE (since 16 June 2026) or Australia (on Kraken's licensing page, which gives no start date)
ZEC/USD and ZEC/EUR spot pairs are online in the public API (earliest ZEC/EUR trade 28 October 2016); Kraken's address-format article lists Zcash t-addresses as supported and zs or zc shielded addresses as not supported for withdrawals, and does not mention unified or TEX addresses. Kraken delisted ZEC for clients residing in India (deposits and trading stopped on 10 April 2026) and in the UAE (deposits and trading stopped on 16 June 2026), and its licensing page, last updated on 30 September 2026, says Australian clients cannot deposit, hold or trade ZEC. The two notices give their dates without a year; they are taken as 2026, the year both pages were last updated.

Perpetual and networks, checked on 19 Oct 2026
Perpetual: PF_ZECUSD, settled in US dollars. Deposits and withdrawals: Zcash.
ZEC/USD and ZEC/EUR spot are online, the ZEC asset status is enabled and Kraken's status page shows Zcash funding operational on the Zcash chain (withdrawals accept t-addresses but not zs or zc shielded addresses), and Kraken Futures lists the PF_ZECUSD multi-collateral perpetual quoted in USD (since 24 Aug 2022).

- Kraken public API: AssetPairs (ZECUSD, ZECEUR, XMRUSD, XMREUR, DCRUSD)

- Supported address formats for cryptocurrency withdrawal
Shielded Zcash, checked on 19 Oct 2026
Deposits from shielded addresses: unknown. Kraken publishes no rule naming deposits sent from Zcash shielded addresses: its deposit processing article (last updated 5 Oct 2026) says deposits sent via MWEB on Litecoin, PrivateSend on Dash, CoinJoin or other obfuscation tools will not be credited and may be lost, and that deposits of ZEC block rewards are not accepted, but it does not say whether shielded Zcash transactions fall under that rule; the public Assets API carries no address data, and the deposit address type is shown only inside a logged-in account.
Withdrawals to shielded addresses: not supported, transparent addresses only. Kraken's supported address formats article (last updated 7 Oct 2026) lists Zcash addresses beginning with t as supported and those beginning with zs or zc as not supported; it does not mention unified (u1) or TEX addresses, and because TEX addresses also begin with t the table does not settle them, so TEX is not listed as accepted.
US states, checked on 19 Oct 2026
Not offered in Maine or New York. Kraken does not serve residents of Maine or New York (licensing page updated 30 Sep 2026); its Maine service ended on 1 Jun 2024. ZEC is not on the page's list of assets restricted for US clients, and ZEC/USD and ZEC/EUR are online in the public API (19 Oct 2026). The page says residents of Texas and New Hampshire cannot deposit or hold EUR or trade EUR pairs, which rules out ZEC/EUR for them; its Indiana limit on crypto transfers is listed under restrictions for Krak, Kraken's standalone payments app whose balances are kept separate from Kraken accounts. The United States page has the state-level note.
XMR Monero Restricted +perp since 16 Jun 2026
Not offered to clients in the UK (since November 2021, per press reports), Ireland and Belgium (since 10 May 2024), the rest of the EEA (since 31 October 2024), Canada (since 2 September 2025), India (since 10 April 2026), the UAE (since 16 June 2026) or Australia
XMR pairs against USD, EUR, XBT, USDT and USDC are online in the public API. The Ireland, Belgium, EEA, Canada, India and UAE restrictions are on Kraken's own notices, and Kraken's licensing page, last updated on 30 September 2026, lists XMR among the assets that clients in the UK and the EEA cannot deposit or trade and that clients in Canada and Australia cannot deposit, hold or trade. The page gives no start dates, so the UK date rests on press reports of a 2021 client letter and Australia has none.

XMR is not on the page's list of assets restricted for US clients, and XMR pairs against USD, USDC, USDT, XBT and EUR are online in the public API (19 Oct 2026), which makes Kraken the only US-serving exchange checked here with an XMR market. Residents of Texas and New Hampshire cannot trade EUR pairs, so XMR/EUR is closed to them; the page's Indiana limit on crypto transfers is listed under restrictions for Krak, Kraken's standalone payments app. The United States page has the state-level note.
DCR Decred Restricted since 22 May 2026
Not offered to clients in the EEA or Canada (on Kraken's licensing page, which gives no start date)
The DCR/USD spot pair is online in the public API and its trade history starts on 22 May 2026, which is taken as the listing date; no listing announcement was found on Kraken's asset-listings blog.
